Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

Not required. The tool needs gender, birthdate, health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length—those six inputs suffice for quotes. Personal information like name and address are requested only when you move forward with an application.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

These are what each carrier offers for the health class you indicated during the quote process. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm, improve, or adjust your class and final premium. The quotes displayed are estimates only and not a guarantee of price or coverage.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name and your chosen quote is used to launch an application on the carriers' secure platform. Pause and return anytime. Sign documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (0B75129), manages the application process.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer varies by carrier, amount, and what you told us. Some carriers provide fast decisions for eligible applicants. Each quote notes whether an exam is required, might be needed, or is not required.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that spans the period when your dependents would suffer financially without you—years with a mortgage, young children, or business debt. Longer terms increase the monthly cost but hold rates stable longer. Compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options in our tool.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The quote tool doesn't gather contact details, we don't sell or share visitor information, and we measure traffic without cookies. Read our privacy page for the full accounting of what information we collect and which parties receive it.
